Antony Jennings 2nd April 2023

Joe, I still can’t believe that I’m writing this mate. I shared most milestones in my life with you. Same nursery, same primary school ( you made it by a day with your birthday being the last day of the cut off), same senior school, same Uni. Playing at Wembley together. First night out in town, both panicking whether we would get swerved by the doormen for being too young, first lads holiday. Our daughters and first borns coming into the world within a matter of weeks of each other. Trips to London to see old mates and watch the rugby. The memories of working with each other and finishing every Friday before we had kids and going straight out into town are too many to mention but each and every one was an absolute ball. It’s been an absolute pleasure to have called you my oldest mate, and if your legacy is your amazing wife and those beautiful, kind and brave kids then you’ve done an amazing job lad. Your parents will always be proud of the man that they raised. Goodnight godbless mate, RIP.
