Col Vickers 1st April 2023

Joe, so many happy memories mate. We were first mates back in Hendersons in 2003 and have been mates since. The glory days/Friday nights from 2003 were legendary. Afternoons and nights putting the world to rights in The Railway in town, the fancy dress party when you dressed up as Freddie Mercury, the trip to Twickenham when the famous crooked finger was wagged at the clown who took umbrage to scousers being at Twickenham, the nights in Havana and Bar 21, the chrimbo parties, the stay behinds, the straight from work bevvies in Coopers. The fantasy football league you used to run in work back in the day which you used to suspiciously win each year ha ha. Strange how you added Yakubu in the Friday afternoon before he scored a hat-trick…..So much fun and so many boss memories. I’ll miss that raucous giggle but the memories will stay. Jen, Archie and Poppy, so so sorry. Joe was so very proud of the family that he had. My/our thoughts have been with you and remain with you. Thanks Joey for 20 years’ worth of memories mate. I know you would chuckle at a bitter blue saying this but YNWA. X
