Peter, Lee Hannah and Lily 8th April 2023

Joe, I've only known you, Jen and the kids for a short space of time. But in that time the support you and Jen gave us with our struggles with Lily has been amazing. I can genuinely say you were one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I’ll miss our Saturday and Sunday texts/ calls about the kids football and how bad Liverpool are. Watching the girls play football on Saturday mornings isnt the same. You always listened to my worries about Lily and always gave good advice. So many people have talked about how funny you were, and they were right, some close to the bone stuff mind, but my sense of humour. It was blatantly obvious how proud you were of Poppy and Archie, and although you tried hard in our conversations to be modest about their footballing abilities, you couldn’t hide it. Whenever we spent time with you all, it was evident how much loved Jen and the kids. You would be so proud of how her family have looked after her and the kids. The last thing we have to remember you by sums you up.. you knew about the struggles we had trying to get Lily into a new school. You went out of your way to write to the head teacher. Lily has now been accepted in that school, and that is now our lasting memory of you. Kind, funny and would do anything for anyone. Love Peter, Lee, Hannah and Lily.
